The Novelizing Constitution

A constitution is a set of fundamental principles according to which an organization is governed. These principles are the bedrock on which the company is built.

We will:

1. Cultivate a supportive, engaged community of readers and writers.
2. Empower authors with effective and fair opportunities to earn from their craft.
3. Provide education and pathways for traditional publishing, self-publishing, or hybrid publishing — whichever path an author chooses.
4. Maintain integrity, ensuring transparency. We will refuse to engage in shady, predatory, or exploitative practices. As authors ourselves, we constantly ask: Are we building the platform we wish we had?
5. Create a space where authors and readers can connect, celebrate great storytelling, and uplift one another. We champion writing as a career and will strive to foster a community built on the belief that a rising tide lifts all boats.

This constitution is the foundation of everything we do. Every business decision will be measured against these principles.
