Defensive Magic
By Mad Sibyl
Enemies-to-lovers gothic, fantasy rom-com, plus some werewolves.
Zephyr has been a mage for two months. He got the ability to use magic after making a deal with a werewolf god. A few problems - 1) he can't quite remember the finer points of this deal. What was it he'd promised again? And 2) his vampire ex-girlfriend is going to be pissed once she finds out about all this.
But those are problems for later. Now, Zephyr is hiding out half a world away in an exclusive university for mages, The Midnight Court. Most days, his biggest frustration is the annoying prince, Aries de la Fel, who shares his desk for combat lessons. Everything is fine, or close enough anyway, until Zephyr realizes that deal he'd made might have had some unexpected fine print.
This novel is based on a playthrough of Covens of Midnight - a slice-of-life, magic school, enemies-to-lovers journaling RPG.
