Ghost Sagar: Legends of the Ashes
The cruelty of a world in ruins... starts by those in it...
This is a character-driven, grimdark revenge-fantasy, slow-burn thriller with horror undertones and alchemical mythos.
The story unfolds in a shattered lab full of shadows, where a special group of alchemists, a supposedly secret order, weave their power behind closed doors. In this world, life itself is a commodity... flesh is molded, souls are bartered, and failure is discarded like refuse.
At its heart lies a creature born of cruelty: a failed chimera, stitched together by an alchemist’s ambition and condemned as worthless. Abused, tortured, and cast aside, he survives where none expected. His escape is not freedom but the beginning of a relentless hunt. For those who scarred him after killing the one who gave him a heart, his enemies belong to a secret organization, hidden from the eyes of the world, known only to its members and the assassins they employ.
The chimera’s path is marked by vengeance and blood. To reach the faceless masters, he must first confront the killers they hired after him, the assassins who thrive in silence, each bound by oaths and shadows. Every encounter strips away another layer of deception, revealing the true machinery of the order that sought to erase him.
But vengeance is not without cost. As the creature hunts, he discovers that his torment was not an accident but part of a greater design: a failed experiment meant to unlock forbidden power. His existence is both a curse and a weapon, and the deeper he delves, the more he realizes that the assassins are not merely pawns... they are guardians of a secret that could never be shown to the world itself, or else the balance would never be established ever again...
