Six Souls [Isekai/Litrpg; Book One Complete]
By milc
Start ReadingStranded on a new world his only option is to go full Genghis Khan.
Ray took to working as a killer-for-hire after he left his army days behind but he didn’t think of himself as an evil man. His code made sure he didn’t get caught and could sleep reasonably well at night. Discretion and professionalism were his watchwords and he had become very good at his job.
When a mission goes awry he finds himself alone and forced to start life again on a facsimile of ancient Earth. He has to kill to get stronger and the system doesn’t care if it’s animals or people. However many Souls he gains there are only six that truly matter.
His goal is to be the last one left alive of the six people exiled from Earth for the amusement of the gods. Whether it's terrifying beasts or savage tribes standing in his way, he can see only one path ahead of him:
Five people have to die so he can win the game, go back to Earth and take his revenge against a god.
What to expect:
System is introduced in Chapter 2
The story is an exploration of a new world so the main plot is a slow burn but Ray is constantly expanding his horizons and gaining strength.
There will be some empire building and technological uplift as Ray shares advanced ideas with the peoples he rises up to lead. The MC will eventually take his nomad horde south against the more civilised territories.
The system is loosely based on Dark Souls in terms of spending Souls on levels and stats or upgrading his magic. The magic and shop system is potent but limited. He’ll need allies if he is to stand a chance of winning.
The style is inspired by classic adventure stories like the Barsoom series. No harem, minor romance, intimate scenes are handled in a fade to black fashion.
It is entirely written in 1st person POV from Ray.
Chapters are 2.5k-3k words on average. Book one is complete. Book two is ongoing on Royal Road.
