Finn was on track to follow his dad into the diplomatic corps. He wanted to be an unsung hero who made the world a safer place. All that fell apart when his dad succumbed to cancer. Finn’s grades plunged, and interest in that life waned.
Just when he thought things were starting to look up, Finn woke up in a fantasy world run by a sapient System with no memories of how he got there. Trapped alongside thousands of other outsiders and with no understanding of magic, Finn decides his only hope of getting home is helping the System to come fully online.
Finn’s first task: To track down a beast of legend long thought dead. To succeed, he’ll have to become the type of man he never wanted to be.
